There. Is that better?

I was ironing when Alyssa started crawling under the ironing board. Immediately, I scolded her and told her not to play there. (What if she knocked it over and the hot iron fell on her?!?)

"But, Mommy," she said, "I need to get my girl."

Get your girl?

I looked under the board and saw Cherry Jam just hanging out. Alyssa was just as surprised as I was to find her beloved toy trapped in a hole. How do these things even happen???

All I know is that this Cherry Jam surprise is much better than this cherry jam surprise. Don't you agree?
